Ian is a Senior Environmental Resource Manager at Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. and oversees coastal projects for the firm. These projects include both private development and public restoration. Ian evaluates the technical merit of Miocean projects to ensure measurable water quality results are obtainable and beneficial to our local beaches. He is an avid surfer, mountain biker and triathlete and loves to travel to warm tropical places.
Randy is Head of School at St. Anne School. His educational career includes 21 years of experience as a teacher in grades 5-12 and as an administrator in elementary, middle school, and high school. Prior to entering education, he served in the United States Air Force in Special Operations. Randy is married with three children. He enjoys playing the guitar and surfing. As former military, he has access to Church's and always welcomes his friends to join him at his favorite surf spot!
Julie is a 20 year veteran at Union Bank. She serves as Vice-President - Director of Business Development for the bank's Southern California Division and overseas new business generation for the Commercial Bank. Julie assists with Miocean's Community Relations and Event Planning. She lives by the beach and is raising four kids, including twin seven-year-old boys, who love to surf, play in the ocean and vacation at tropical beaches across the world.
John-Paul is President and CEO of Inertia Interactive, a media production and website firm in Orange County. He is a producer, director, and cinematographer with over 70 credits to his name, including the acclaimed feature documentary, Step Into Liquid. John-Paul chairs the PR Committee for Miocean. He lives with his family near the beach and is a lifetime surfer, windsurfer and ocean lover.
Jeff is the President of Service Source Corp., a global organization that helps technology and health-care companies around the world drive top-line revenue with their services. Jeff was the former CEO of Accenture LLC (formerly Savista) and Co-founder of ProBusiness Inc (PRBZ). Jeff is the former Chairman of Miocean and today leads development efforts with the San Diego Chapter and serves on the Projects Committee. He and his family live in Del Mar.
As CEO of Power Plus, an industry leader in power solutions, Steve provides strategic leadership to his executive team and is a master electrician in five states. He has a passion for clean waters and is dedicated to preserving the integrity of Orange County's beaches. He is a triathlete, and loves to surf and skim board the Wedge. Steve has four children that adore the ocean and all love to surf!
Mark is president of Spring Creek Investors, an investment management company and equity capital provider for real estate projects. With Miocean, he is involved with the projects committee helping to source and qualify potential projects. Mark grew up on the beaches of Laguna and now enjoys sharing his passion for the beaches and ocean with his wife and two children.
As CEO of Fuscoe Engineering, Inc., a civil engineering consulting firm, Pat has overseen the design and construction of numerous water quality treatment facilities and brings over 30 years of technical know-how and regulatory knowledge to the Miocean Board. Pat has been Chairman of Miocean since 2004 and also serves on the Projects Committee. He is a lifelong scuba diver, sailor, and body surfer who loves and respects the ocean.
Paul is CEO and Owner of Makar Properties, LLC, headquartered in Newport Beach, California. Makar Properties is a diversified real estate development company that specializes in the acquisition and development of innovative master-planned communities and mixed-use, resort, retail, golf, office and residential properties in premier locations and high growth markets. Paul spearheads Special Events and chairs the annual Blue42 event for Miocean. He has a passion for the ocean and enjoys surfing, scuba diving and being out on the water.
Dave is a partner in Watt, Tieder, Hoffar and Fitzgerald, a national law firm dedicated to construction law. He represents clients on a wide variety of complex commercial construction matters, including water quality treatment facilities, wastewater treatment plants, universities, five-star resorts, international resorts, mass transit systems, military projects, hospitals, high-rise buildings, and commercial complexes. Dave is an active waterman who loves surfing, bodysurfing, swimming, paddling and spending time in the water with his wife and two kids. Above all else, he and his family share a passion for the beach, the ocean and the preservation of both.
As President of Busch Financial Services, John arranges conventional financing for its clients and Busch Firm (Irvine based law firm) affiliated companies. John is a co-founder of Miocean and assists with Development and Fundraising for the organization. He is a lifetime surfer, loves to travel with friends to exotic surf breaks, and enjoys deep-sea fishing.
Keith is a Principal at Centra Realty Corporation, a real estate development and investment company that owns and operates commercial properties throughout Southern California and Las Vegas. He is a co-founder of Miocean and oversees new projects that warrant support for Board consideration. Keith is a lifelong waterman involved in surfing, diving, stand up paddle boarding, boating, and body surfing. He shares a passion for the ocean's preservation with his wife and four daughters.
Paul is a founder of a number of successful technology businesses including new ventures, turn-arounds, and public-private engineering ventures. Paul brings his engineering background, local and state regulatory knowledge, and collaborative spirit to the Miocean team. He provides hands-on support for projects to target beach and coastal water improvement through urban runoff treatment, water recycling, and other sustainable coastal management programs. Paul and his wife Renee live beachside. He's an avid stand-up paddle surfer, world traveler and adventurer.
Greg is Chairman and CEO of Wohl Investment Co, which is headquartered in Newport Beach and specializes in the acquisition, repositioning and management of retail centers and business parks throughout Southern California. He serves on the Projects and Education Committees for Miocean. Greg has been an active waterman since his youth; he enjoys boating, surfing, fishing and sailing.
Randy is founder and general partner of Pinecreek Capital Partners, LP, a private equity fund that provides mezzanine financing to privately held companies in Southern California and the West. His primary responsibility with Miocean is providing financial assistance in the areas of budgeting, cash management and financial statement preparation. Randy has always had a strong affinity to the ocean and enjoys kayaking, body surfing and diving.
