Happy Holidays! Friends of Miocean, As we close out our ninth year we pause to reflect on the beauty and benefits of our Orange County coast. We know that the water quality work we’ve accomplished has helped maintain the health and accessibility of our coastal waters. You have been a big part of this and can share in the success we’ve achieved! In 2012, we plan to take on two new projects that add to the dozen we’ve funded from San Clemente to Huntington Beach. They will, of course, be carefully selected to ensure a one to two year completion with measurable and visible results. Our Board members will continue to cover the modest expenses we encounter and perform the “due diligence” and follow through themselves. We welcome your help towards our project goals by making a contribution before the years end at www.miocean.org. If you have a question or want our attention for your local beach, surf spot or ocean swim area, let us know and we’ll see if and how we can make a difference for your ocean….our ocean….and Miocean.
