Honorees for this year’s Blue42 are IMAX filmmakers Greg and Barbara MacGillivray, of MacGillivray Freeman Films, who have produced some of the most popular films in the genre including hits like Everest and the Academy Award-nominated film, "The Living Sea".

Together with Barbara, Greg recently launched the One World One Ocean Foundation, dedicated to changing the way people see and value their oceans. The Foundation is planning a global, multi-media “One World One Ocean” campaign that will use the power of film, television, new media, social action and grassroots educational programs to inspire, educate and connect millions of people worldwide in a common purpose: to restore and protect the health of the ocean.
